he pupils of Marguerite de Valois in connection with Segou (Mali) through a comic book project

Cap BD Angoulême, the Angoulême twinning committee, and the Festival on Niger Foundation have joined forces for a project bringing together around twenty young people from Angoulême and Segovia, who met by videoconference in December.

The goal? Collectively produce a series of comics that will be part of an exhibition during Ségou’Art, a festival on Niger, in February 2021.

Marguerite de Valois’ students had the chance to produce four comic strips on the digital theme. Throughout their stories, young people have tried to show that technology can be a real tool to bring people together despite physical distance.
You will be able to find and read this story of the bond tied through technology during the Angoulême International Comics Festival on the Twinning stand.
