The Arts and Cultural Education Courses (PEAC) and Greater Angoulême are launching “the new image workshops” in 2019.

The arts and cultural education courses aim to develop a policy of access to culture and artistic practices for young audiences.

With the launch of the “new image workshops” in 2019, the goal is to meet the societal challenges of our 21st century. Greater Angoulême leans on the exceptional nature of the “local resource” to set up image education actions as early as 2019. Our territory is an essential hub of “Image”, home to one of the most important communities of comic book authors in France as well as the second European center for animated cinema.

Thus, comic book authors will intervene in 15 school classes and 5 iconic studios of animated films will propose to children to follow the path of the creation of an animated film, and to discover the many professions of this sector.

Find these different actions presented in the booklet PEAC 2019-2020.
